The Hong Kong Jockey Club Innovative Learning Centre for Medicine
(HKJC ILCM) of the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine has just celebrated its 8th anniversary. With the generous donation from the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust and the leadership of Drs. W.K. Tung, P.P. Chen and H.Y. So, ILCM has been providing a safe environment for learners to apply knowledge, skills, and clinical behaviors to improve clinical outcomes by promoting reflective practice and providing collaborative, quality training with our healthcare partners.
Our mission is to be a world-renowned centre of excellence in innovative postgraduate medical education. In addition to providing innovative, effective and modern simulation-based education, we also provide simulation educator courses and simulation trainer certification programme to cultivate contemporary instructional methods and provide recognition to our dedicated trainers.
With the rapid expansions in the technology and online learning, we should blend various learning modalities to facilitate quality, sophisticated and effective learning experience to the learners.
In the upcoming future, we will continue to pledge to provide an entire learning experience via simulation-based education, online learning and healthcare trainer training.
